Mizpeh

In ruins: c. 3300 BC – c. 1200 BC
Mizpah: Tell en-Nasbeh was a small village in the Late Chalcolithic and Early Bronze I periods and then lay empty for some two thousand years, until it was settled again at the start of the Iron Age; the town lived on through the Babylonian and Persian periods, and after the fall of Jerusalem it was the seat of Gedaliah.
